Our "March Madness" is over. It was a busy but so fun month! Not sure what we'll do now that we don't have any weddings to plan. Heidi and Jeff lucked out on a beautiful wedding day.

A Meeting of the Deer

Saturday morning I looked out at all the fresh snow and was puzzled by the disturbed pile by the tree. There were tracks coming from the neighbors, from across the road and from across the driveway. Jeff eventually went and checked it out and they were deer tracks. Not sure what they were digging for.
I have a great book recommendation. If you haven't read Mrs. Mike by Benedict and Nancy Freedman, I recommend that you do. Very good read.

Coloring Eggs

Jeanie and Danny colored eggs this morning. Jeanie mixed all the colors and got a brown shade. That's the middle, left picture. Danny was trying to get "Michigan" colors by putting blue and yellow and was getting frusterated when it kept turning green! (top right picture) Danny got bored and left and wouldn't come back for the picture with the finished eggs.

Matt and Lori's Reception

I realized I never did post pictures of Matt and Lori's wedding reception. So here they are.

The Honeymooners

The honeymooners came back last night or actually early this morning. After a morning of doing laundry and packing some wedding gifts they have headed back home. Back to reality and married life. They had a wonderful trip and I'm sure Amanda will be posting pictures.

It was a busy weekend. All the kids and grandkids were here except Jon, Paul and Jane. It made for a full house but it was sure lots of fun! Sara left early Sunday morning, Matt & Emily left late Sunday morning and Jen and Mark left about noon Monday. Kirsten (Emily's)
