Oh Dan......

I have a Danny story you girls might get a chuckle from. We are having our fall church services this weekend. Dave T. is one of the visiting ministers and he is staying here along with his two youngest boys. When they got here the boys were introducing themselves. Then Jonah, the 13 year old, asked Danny, "How old are you?....wait.... let me guess.......14?" Danny got a look of surprise in his eyes and then nonchalantly nods. (This 12 year old was pretty proud to be taken for 14!)

Taking Pasty Orders

I'm making pasties tomorrow. I still have room to take a few more orders. If anyone local would like to order just call or email me.

I'm starting to think Christmas. I made this apron yesterday. It was quick and fun to do. I think I'm getting addicted to aprons. Of course I have yet to make myself one. I've given them all away, including this one. Maybe I'll make myself one for Christmas!

Doctor Dan

Jeanie and Danny playing doctor. They use things out of the "junk drawer" for their medical tools. I guess he found his glasses and headband in there also.

Yesterday I finished knitting a bag and felted it. I will post it later. I also finished an apron and am sending it to it's owner today. I have sock yarn to make a baby sweater for Brady and hope to get started on that soon. Today I need to make a meal plan and go grocery shopping.

Another Garage Sale Find

Amanda and Paul really were here this weekend even though the only picture we have is the "birthday pose". It was so fun to have them even though it felt like they just got here and then they were gone!

Amanda and I went garage saleing on Friday and we went again Saturday along with Heidi and Larissa. The only purchase made on Friday was a Travel System that Amanda bought. A very nice stroller/carseat combination. And then Saturday's only purchase was this wicker set by me. The guy had $20 on the love seat and $20 on the set of chairs. I was looking at the love seat thinking I could paint it and make a new cushion for it. I was thinking about it as I wandered through the garage. I went back to look at the love seat again and he had put a $10 sign on it. I said, "You marked this down to $10?" He nodded. I said, "For that price, I can't pass it up, I'll take it." He said, "You can have all of it for $10." So I guess I got each piece for $3.33!! Of course I have a project to do now.

Happy belated birthday Jeff

Meet Oscar

Molly bought this hamster with four of her friends. They each will have it every five weeks. Sunday she will pass it on to the next owner. I'm wondering if it will actually make it back here in five weeks......
