Maine Day Two- Up State New York and Vermont

 We spent our first night in Rochester, New York. Then we traveled through up state New York and went to Lake Placid. A beautiful area. Lake Placid was wall to wall people so we didn't stop.

We saw a few covered bridges in Vermont. There aren't many left.

Pizza supper in Vergennes, Vermont

We stopped for hot fudge sundaes at a McDonald's in Vermont. Maybe Lincoln? Danny wanted us to sit in this "booth" but it was so sticky we let him sit there himself.

Maine Vacation Day One

 We went through Canada on our way to Maine and stopped at Niagara Falls. Fred and I have been there before but it's still so impressive.

 It was a beautiful day with a cool breeze. We were there on a Thursday so the crowds weren't bad.

We spent a couple hours there and had Cold Stone Creamery for a delicious snack.

Danny's Swim Meet

This video is Danny swimming the first leg of the 4 x 50 relay. He is in the fourth lane with the white swim cap. His team won first place.

Spring has Sprung

Finally, the daffodils have opened. Spring is late coming this year but I guess not as late as it is in the UP. They are still having snowstorms.

Swimming Starts

Basketball ended on Saturday and swimming started on Monday. He didn't swim the last couple years but decided to join the team this year. He has his first meet April 14th. He is so excited as he's never competed in swimming before.

Danny Wins The Bronze

Danny's basketball team lost their first game at the state games and won their second to get third place for the Bronze medal.  He was pumped! He was especially pumped that he got the 3-pointer he was saying he was going to get!
