My Favorite Holiday....NOT!!!!!

Per Jennifer's request. Here's a picture of the twins and their trick or treating gang. (Gretchen, Kim, Stacey, Kaitlin, Trent S., Zach S. and Traven S.
Whew....It's over for another year. All except the candy. Danny found this Superman costume that Brett must have thought was going to fit him as he bought it when he went to Marquette. It didn't even fit Danny but he wore it anyway. He was running around with a major wedgy all night! Jeanie was a beautiful princess but threw on this black poncho as we went out the door. It actually was a very mild evening. About 61°. It did start to drizzle the last half hour or so.
Kaitlin wasn't quite dressed yet. She still had to "make up" her face and put her princess dress on. Gretchen was quite thrilled as one lady knew what she was..."Oh, I love your 80's outfit!!" the lady said.
The Nerds!!!I was quite glad to drop Molly and her friends, Kristina, Caroline and Gina, off at the sub behind Gary P's. They were quite "loud" in the back seat. They sure had fun. They said they were going to say at each door, "According to our calculations we should say Trick or Treat.........Trick or Treat!" We asked if they actually said that and they said only at the first couple houses but then they quit as it was slowing them down!
The kids definately didn't get the haul the bigger kids use to get. Danny got 1 full size candy bar. Danny's candy will last the longest. He is not a candy eater. He ate about two Reese's yesterday and I put one in his lunch. Once the Reese's are gone the rest will sit there.
Jeanie going over her loot. She sorted it all out and put them in little zip-lock bags. Now SHE will eat all of hers. And only she! She wasn't happy last night when Brad tried to "steal" a piece that she liked. She did give out all those that had nuts but made sure NO ONE took a piece that she wanted. (Except Larissa....She told Larissa SHE could have anything she wanted!)

My kids came home and started sorting theirs too and counting how many of each. My little boys are taking a bite out of a piece and moving on to the next this morning..I guess that's better than truly eating it all. Riss, you better enjoying getting ANY piece you want..that might wear off by next year!

That's the thing. Halloween is a fun time if you have the creative mind. Who doesn't want to get all crazy for a day just for fun?? We all want to play dress up here and there....
