Heidi's Shower
Yes, she was surprised! Paula and I met her at Marijane's to see her dress. Marijane called her for a fitting. We got there about 7:00 and were upstairs admiring her beautiful dress. Marijane and Cindy had put a sign on the door, "Shhhhhh......the bride is upstairs trying on her dress." I could hear cars coming up the driveway but everyone was very quiet downstairs. Heidi didn't notice the cars as she was not listening for them. Paula and I went down so Heidi could change back into her clothes. She was CLUESLESS until she turned the corner and saw all the gifts at the bottom of the stairs and the people in the living room. When she got there at 7:00 there were no chairs set up in the living room. In fact Alissa's (sp?) toys were on the floor. (Cindy's baby's) They must have scrambled once Heidi got upstairs. It was so fun and she got so many nice things!!! Very heartwarming and overwhelming.

How fun to have a surprise and for Heidi's sake, good thing it over. Now she can just relook and relook at her presents and plan her cooking days ahead.
How awesome that the shower was a surprise, so few are now-a-days. And great planning on everyone's part to keep it that way!
