George Washington

I just finished and enjoyed very much a biography of George Washington. I decided to make a goal and read a book on each one of our 44 presidents. I'm sure they won't all be as fasinating as George Washington but I will attempt it. I always loved history in school so hope to find interesting books on each one.

I also picked up a book by Jeffrey Archer, "As a Crow Flies". Thank you Sharyn for your recommendation on this author. It has been good from the first page on. Excited to find a new author to read!

I haven't been too consistant on this blog lately. I hope to improve on that. Fred and I are going to head up to a funeral of one of his dearest Aunts. We also look forward to staying at my Mom and Dad's and spending some quality time with grandkids and kids! May not be back until after the weekend.

I'm so glad you're enjoying him - he needs to write more!

And should I know who died? I haven't heard any news lately??

Erma Kilpela passed away yesterday morning.

My condolences.

Anne - Cory and I both read American History for Dummies and it was thoroughly entertaining. There is information on each of the presidents in it, and it wasn't a painful, boring read.

I should start reading again. I loved history, too. So I'd probably enjoy that book too.

Have a safe trip.
