Dan Gets a Trophy

Danny got a championship hockey trophy and he doesn't even know how to skate! He went to watch Robert play a championship hockey game Sunday. They won and will be going to the state finals. Danny went in the locker room after the game. The coach handed out the trophies and he had an extra so he gave one to Danny. He was SO pumped. I don't think it ever occured to him that he's suppose to EARN a trophy! All it mattered to him was that he GOT one! He was probably more charged than the team members that earned it. He had to take it to school on Monday to "share" with his class! (excuse his nose, he was at the tail end of a head cold.)

Oh too funny! He looks all dressed up though, so kind of like an assistant coach or something...

Haha, that's the best! Yeah, they could make a new title for him, how about the 'assistant player'.

That's so cool - I am sure that the boys on that team did not mind including him in their win.

That is the cutest thing ever! Way to go Dan! My he's getting old. Seems like he was just a baby.

Amanda: They went straight from church and they didn't bother to change.

Sara: I read Danny your comment and he mumbled, "no....that's stupid!"

Anne, tell Dan that I am so proud of him and his trophy! Priceless! I would agree that he is probably the most appreciative owner of a trophy. I have a feeling he may be visiting many more locker rooms!
