Back from St. John Services

We arrived home to this scene. This maple tree fell on the house Friday night. The damage was minimal to the house. It mostly fell on the front porch. The greatest damage was the the Japanese Maple in the garden. The Japanese Maple was about 25 years old. It sheared off some branches on the back side of that tree.

It was wonderful to go to St. John services. It is so strengthening and heartwarming to be at the services and enjoy the wonderful fellowship of all those traveling in this same precious faith. It was fun to spend time with the up north kids and grandkids.

Wow - what a surprise to come home to, with a tree on the house!

So, typical of Amanda's little girl with Papa - just holding a poise...man she knows how to give it her best for the camera!...haha

and I totally didn't recognize Heidi (was the it the bangs?), Will asked who it was and at first glance, I told him it was someone we didn't know, until I saw who she was holding! My goodness, it hasn't been that long, has it?!

Ha ha! That's so funny you didn't recognize Heidi! Probably because she's training for a half marathon so she's all in shape and such. Or maybe it's just her hair. :)
