Garage Sale Finds

Jeanie's been trying to learn to play the guitar and had requested a youth size one. I found this garage saleing the other week. So we have lots of guitar strumming going on around here. Fred, Kaitlin, Molly and now Jeanie.

I picked up this bike for Danny. It's almost the same as his old one but a size bigger and has 7 speeds. Not sure if he has any clue how to use them. He thinks it's pretty cool as it has DS on it. You know.....Down Syndrome.

I have a Danny story for Auntie Jean. We were at Costco last week. When I was checking out Danny points to my membership card in the clerks hand and says, "That's a picture of my mom." She says, "Isn't she pretty?" Danny replies, "Nah..." The clerk says, "Yes, she is." Dan says, "Nahhh.......I don't think so, well, maybe half." I then said, "Gee thanks, Dan. Just for that I'm not going to buy you a slice of pizza." He looked at the clerk and said, "I'm just that kind of guy."

July

The summer is flying by. Matt and Emily and kids and Amanda and Kendall were here for a week. It was a blast but was over in a blink! It was brutal HOT so the kids had a ball in the pool. We went garage saleing two days. Had fun and did pick up a few things.

Back from St. John Services

We arrived home to this scene. This maple tree fell on the house Friday night. The damage was minimal to the house. It mostly fell on the front porch. The greatest damage was the the Japanese Maple in the garden. The Japanese Maple was about 25 years old. It sheared off some branches on the back side of that tree.

It was wonderful to go to St. John services. It is so strengthening and heartwarming to be at the services and enjoy the wonderful fellowship of all those traveling in this same precious faith. It was fun to spend time with the up north kids and grandkids.

June

I actually took these pictures a couple weeks ago and I can't believe how much they've grown already.
