Actually it's June 2nd. It rained yesterday. Today's assignment is to go take a picture of your home. Years from now you will be glad you did.We are making a family cookbook and would like to put a picture of the home we were all raised in on the cover. Unfortunately we don't have a real good picture of the original home. Before changes and addition. My oldest brother is a photographer so I know he will do wonders with the picture we do have.
I have thought about taking a picture a month for a year just to see the season changes. I meant to start yesterday the first, but I guess I will do it on the second of the month instead.

It looks like a jungle there compared to here!! I can't wait to see it again in a few days. You really appreciate all that green when you don't have it. (Yet anyways.) It's starting to be "greener" but the trees aren't quite that full yet.
I wish you could magically grow landscaping so it's mature. We're starting from brown dirt over here and it feels like it'll be years before it looks like that. (And it will.)
When you don't see it every day, you realize how big all of the shrubs have grown. It looks nice. It makes me more lonesome for home. Wish we had a trip planned this summer... We'll have to see how it goes.
