This Kid is 13 years old and does absolutely nothing around here! Dad decided it's time for him to be doing some jobs. He gave him the job of weeding around the wood pile and weeding around the pool. Being as we had quite a bit of rain on Sunday, it shouldn't have been too difficult of a job. He needed a little "coaxing" to get out there but once he did he actually worked pretty hard. It took him about 1 1/2 hours. The job was marginal, he missed a few weeds, but he tried! He had the wheelbarrow and even picked up the weeds and brought them across the road in the woods. The Kid is capable, just extremely lazy. Partly our fault as he is never expected to do much. Hopefully that will start to change. It makes a body feel good to work!

I'm trying to get more serious about jobs around here too - I'm tired of being the maid for these kids - time for them to start cleaning up after themselves!
