Quick Chicken Soup

I usually serve soup and sandwiches for our light meal at work. I'm always on the look out for easy, tasty soups. I was searching on the internet and found this one. I think it was from Betty Crocker. I was pleasantly surprised how tasty it was. Anyone have good, simple soup recipes to share?

Quick Chicken Soup

2 cups cooked chicken, chopped
1 cup frozen peas
2 stalks celery, chopped (1 cup)
2 medium carrots, chopped (1 cup)
1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
2 garlic cloves, minced
7 cups chicken broth
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 dried bay leaf
1 cup uncooked pasta, egg noodles or rotini (4 ounces)

Heat all ingredients except pasta in 4 qt. Dutch oven. Bring to boiling and add pasta. Bring back to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until pasta and vegetables are tender. Discard bay leaf.
