Pork Carnitas

 
 
I made these tonight and we ate them in soft tortillas with taco toppings......cheese, lettuce, tomato and sour cream. They were delicious. This is going on my rotation of meals! Click on the Pork Carnitas to get to the website and recipe.

I made these too. I wasn't so overly impressed, but I also got impatient when making so mine didn't get nice and blackened like the picture. (And I'm off of dairy again, so I only had lettuce in my tortilla) But, both kids devoured theirs, so I think we will be making them again too! Paul liked them as well.

Yum! This is how I make my carnitas--but I don't always broil them afterwards although that it the best!

Amanda, we're dairy-free too but we have more than lettuce with our tex-mex! Use tomatoes or salsa and avacado!

I know you can add more, I didn't have anything in the house.

Okay, so I'm making these today but when I went to follow the recipe...I just couldn't. I use the same ingredients but I use a lot more cumin, less orange, add garlic, and use chicken broth in place of the water. That last one might not make as much of a difference.
