Papa turns 55

I tried to take a few pictures at the birthday "Party" last night but they either came out blurry or with really bad red eye. I have been taking my camera out more because of this blog. Maybe I'll eventually become a good photographer. Who knows.....It was a fun evening. All the kids came home and even Grandpa and Grandma were here. We had barbecue meatballs and potato salad for supper and Jake's Explosive Chocolate Turtle Cheesecake. Amanda made an ice cream sandwich cake for the kiddies. The kids bought the hammock in the picture. It will be nice camping. It folds up and stores in a bag. Emily, Matt, Amanda and I went garage saleing. It was fun but no big bargains. I think Amanda spent .60¢. I spent about $8. Emily and Matt spent a little more but they have little kids to buy for. EVERY garage sale was chuck full of little kids stuff. I told Amanda that I didn't think there were any kids over the age of 5 in those subdivisions.

If you upload your first 5 photos and click "done" it will add them to your page and then you can do that again to add more. I had to do that with my kids baby pictures when I posted all of them. That hammock looks like something I would enjoy!!!

Thanks Sue! Now is there anyway I can rearrange the order of pictures other than deleting them and reloading them?

Now that's the life! I can't wait to string up my colorful hammock - 'cept I'm mighty worried about the ticks - may not be as relaxing!

Kid's were fired up to see their Nana & (Great) Papa! Did you get one of them together?

I've had the same question (about rearranging)!

"Bpa-bpa!" Carter was all fired up too when he saw the top picture. :) (He just saw it).

Choose the "none" box on the upload photo screen and they are easier to arrange. Click and drag the photos to where you want. I think if one is already there you have to move that one somewhere first. It was kind of tricky but I was able to move and arrange that way.

the ice cream cake was actually a big hit... it WAS for us younger kids.. until everyone saw it and wanted a "sliver." it was gone right away. before we started eating i was getting really worried and telling amanda to give me the first piece so i could get one before it was gone. she told me i didnt have to worry and there was gonna be some left over...but what do you know...there wasnt!
