Suckers and Riding in the Rain

A couple of grandkids and my baby enjoying suckers from the picnic. It was a wet one! I had to be there at 9:00 am to help set up the hotdogs. I was pretty happy to have the job of serving hotdogs as I stayed high and dry under the pavilion. Dad was going to come in time for church with Emily but they never did make it. I guess they decided they'd rather stay dry at home then get soaked with two kids at the park. Go figure! It's been a fun weekend having a couple grandkids here and the adult kids hanging around. There were some lively games of Scattergories and Pictionary going on.

I was dozing in the chair Sunday afternoon when someone says, "Is that Danny riding his bike?" Sure enough, it was pouring buckets and Danny decided to go ride out in the rain. What a nut!

that was so funny! he was just sitting on the couch one minute then he says "i'm humid" so then the next minute he went outside and was cruising up and down the road on his bike!

I forgot that part, Riss. He said he was "humid". When he was drying off with that towel he said, "now I'm not "humid" anymore. But I think he pronounced it "human".

That just *adds* to the picture! (Dan saying he was humid/human.)

Oh Dan!!

That's cute. It doesn't surprise me that he was out in the rain though. He's probably having such a ball being able to ride that bike!
