Jeanie's New Do

Gretchen spent about an hour or more the other day curling Jeanie's hair. It looked like a wig when it was done.

I just finished a very good book, Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. It was a quick read and very interesting about a Circus during the depression. I also recently finished listening to the last two Laura Ingalls Wilder books that are about her courtship with Almanzo. It is such a sweet love story. If you haven't read them for years, I recommend you do again. I wish there were more books with this kind of love stories out there.

And I *just* bought that water for elephants book yesterday! Just getting started. I've had it on hold at the library but got tired of waiting for it. lol I've read so many good reviews on it I couldn't wait to get started!

You probably got 'water for elephants' from the library when I canceled my hold on it since I got it from the Brighton library. I haven't had a chance to read it yet. Karen

Wow, that's a lot of hair! Have you ever read any of the Beverly Lewis books about the Amish? Last summer I started reading them (so did my Mom) and they really were good, addicting reading.
