There it is. The bus stop. From a distance. From our driveway. Not too many more years of kids walking home from this bus stop. I do drive Danny and Jeanie in the morning as it is dark but they do walk home. When we first moved here 30 years ago, I could see the bus stop from my kitchen window. The older kids use to walk TO and FROM the bus stop while they were in elementary school. Now the trees have grown so tall I can't see it unless I go on the road.

Wow, it's hard to imagine being able to see the bus stop from the house! I do remember climbing out on a tree branch across the street and seeing the bus stop, you can't even see it from there anymore.
nice idea for today's homework!
I like this - I bet there were lots of memories made at that bus stop!
I just remembering lots of huffing and puffing as the bus sat and waited!...haha
Haha! Sara - totally remember those days. I swear we were running more days than not when we got older.
I'd completely forgotten that you could see the bus stop from the kitchen window when we were kids! I still can't get over how overgrown all the trees and bushes on the sides of the entire road are nowadays.
