I don't really know how old this cow bell is. It came from the H******n farm in Liminga. My father-in-law would be 103 if he was alive today. I don't know if this bell is older or younger than him. I'm not sure when the ringer was replaced with a nut.

That just really struck me when you said Grandpa would be 103 if he was around today! Wow... How the years have flown.

This bell brings back memories...it was the 'sick' bell. I remember ringing it after my back surgery when I needed help in the night.
Wow! hard to believe it was that long ago that Grandpa died!
