Home Alone
Danny: "Hello"
Me: "Is this Danny?"
Danny: "Yaaah"
Me: "Was Kaitlin on the bus?"
Danny: "Noooooooooooo!!!"
Me: "Are you okay?"
Danny: "Sorta"
Me: "Molly and I are on our way home from the orthodontist. We will be home in about 15 minutes. Do you think you'll be alright?"
Danny: "yeah"
Me: "Why don't you go on the computer and we'll be home in a few minutes."
Danny: "k"
He was fine when we got home. He told the girls: "I got home and said, MOM??!!!? KAITLIN?!!
GRETCHEN???!!!ANYONE HOME????!!!! and no sound! Then I started crying."
I must have called him right after this. Because he then told the girls that he came on the computer and put His Radio Disney music REAL LOUD!!!!! He was at the computer hugging "Ben" when we got home.
Dreary Morning
This picture was taken at 8:00 this morning. Just thick and foggy looking. The kids were hoping for a "snow day" or I should say "ice day". Jeanie wore her pajamas inside out AND backwards. She put a quarter and a spoon under her bed (?) and did a "snow dance". Shucks for her, not me, it didn't work! It's kind of sleeting now and they are predicting awful, icy weather this afternoon. Buses might have a rough ride home. Molly has ortho this afternoon. If the weather is too bad, I'll reschedule. I had planned on going shopping today but didn't really know what I was going after so figured it would be a waste of time. I will do some online shopping instead.
I will try again to make an apron. I need to run to Joanne's to get a "Clover Bias Tape Maker" as the apron on the right calls for homemade bias tape and the book recommends the Maker. I will make the apron out of the green with the bias out of the purple. I don't care for the large pocket so will make the smaller pocket.
Here is my first attempt at an apron. It came out way to big! They must run big as I made an X-Large thinking the Large would be too small! It would make a great maternity apron.
