Confirmation Sunday

Hard to believe these "twiners" are confirmed. It was a rather warm day, in the 90's, but not too humid and a breeze. We were just thankful the church has air.

Click on this picture for a closer look if you want to feel "old". Even Heidi Sue couldn't believe what kids are already getting confirmed. Posted by Picasa

The dresses look nice Mom. Or maybe the twins are just so darn cute anyways!

I'd have to say the boys look much younger than the girls! And those dresses turned out great Anne!

Cute dresses!

And those are twins?! ;) I'm still amazed sometimes that they look nothing alike. I think the only thing remotely similar is their nose. We all have the same nose!

And I can hardly believe that they're confirmed and old enough to go with kyds!

How nice to see the group shot; we were thinking about all of you on that day. My youngest hopes to join next years group there. I remember when Rog and Gin's third oldest made Cami's dress for confo. And when it came to be Chels turn, Cami made hers. Then when Clare's time arrived Chels was in sewing class at the high school and needed a project so we bought one pattern and two different materials. She made one of the dresses which turned out fine but the color was off. I can't remember what happened to the other material. Did she make a second dress? Well, anyway we bought a dress here in IL from the Burlington Coat Factory of all places(we have lots of luck at that place)for 14 bucks, but the two slips for underneath cost more than the dress. I heard a tip (too late for this time around) that if you are wearing a white dress to buy a flesh colored slip and it won't be see through.
