Evening Swim
I tried to take pictures of the kids swimming last night but didn't do so well. I should have had the action mode on so they wouldn't have been so blurry as they were jumping. It's amazing the hours these two spend in the pool. It was very cool last night. So cool that I finally had to quit snapping pictures because I was cold! They don't mind the cold although they said the pool was warm!
Today looks like another cooler day. I love this weather. It is perfect for our morning walk. I think I will go over to Laura's Noisy Needles Knitshop today for Knitting Circle. I haven't been there for a couple months. Seriously, every Thursday morning has had something going on. I haven't picked up my knitting in about two months. I'd rather be reading on these summer days. I just finished listening to Me and Marley by John Grogan. (Thanks Yvonne for the recommendation.) I really, really enjoyed it. I'm not an animal lover and I fell in love with Marley. Any animal lovers out there will absolutely enjoy this book.
We are having the kyds over Friday night. Hopefully it won't rain so they can have a bonfire.

Dan called me again...so who else received an "I love you and Miss you SO much" call today? I guess I will take what I can get anyways! Because it still makes me smile even if he is just bored and making phone calls.
he told me that your the only one so this time you can feel extra secial!! :)
I was a little worried he might have called someone yesterday. I was on my way to knitting when he called me the first time. Dan: "Moooommmm.......Can we go liberry today?" The second time I was already at Laura's. Dan: "Mooommmm.....Jeanie on the puter long time already." Mom: "Danny, Jeanie has until the buzzer goes off. I put it going when I left. As soon as it rings, it's your turn." Dan: "okay". Mom: Danny, don't call me again. If you need anything ask Kaitlin, Gretchen or Molly!" Dan: "Okay". And thank goodness he didn't call me again. I was thinking later since he had the phone maybe he would decide to do some more calls but it looks like it was only the one to you, Amanda. A little worrisome now that Dan learned how to use the phone.
You never know who he's gonna call. What a kid!
The pictures of the kids in mid-air are fun. It seems like just yesterday that we were jumping off of that ladder and doing backflips into the water!! Can't believe I ever did such a thing.
Oh wait! That was Matt and Sara and Emily...and...
I don't think I ever dared to do a backflip but I sure did jump many a times! :) Come to think of it, maybe I did. Once or twice. Lol!
