Getting Ready

I've been kind of busy trying to finish the dresses. I only have the hem left and if I get real organized, I hope to do that later this morning. Right now I'm preparing for 30 fourteen and fifteen year olds to come over. The twins are having the confirmation kids this afternoon. We WERE going to have all the "kyds" tonight but changed that plan. The confirmation kids only have a half day and I didn't think I could handle them being here from 12:30 PM to midnight!!! So I am serving them lunch and they will get picked up at about 6:00 PM. We will have the "Kyds" next weekend instead. I browned 10 pounds of ground round and am going to do a Taco Bar. I will set everything up outside. Dad sprayed for mosquitos last night so hopefully their all gone. I'm still not sure how to do it. I'm thinking maybe Molly and I should put the meat in the soft and hard tacos and then let them put what ever else they want. That's it, tacos and I will cut up a Watermelon. Molly also made Scotcheroos and Toffee Bars for dessert. Then I will give them a late afternoon snack of cheese popcorn, party mix, pretzels and White Chocolate Candy Mix. I made slush this morning and if it's frozen by late afternoon I will serve slush with the munchies.
